DescriptionFamily Nurse Practitioner needed for new position in existing clinic. Clinic is family practice/internal medicine hospital-owned clinic that is expanding their services to include an urgent care/immediate care component. This NP will see patients who need to be seen on a short-notice basis as well as walk-in traffic. Great location to experience autonomy as the NP will be the main provider running this part of the practice. This position is being created so that patients that need a quick appointment may schedule with the NP and the walk-in/after hours needs will be met as well.
Ideal candidate will be flexible, able to handle many different illnesses and patients on short notice, must be a quick thinker. Should be comfortable doing minor procedures as they present (minor suturing, etc). Triage patients that need ER services and take appropriate action if they need to be referred to a more acute care setting.
Qualifications include:
FNP licensed in Indiana or has the ability to be licensed in Indiana
BLS
PALS (preferred but can obtain at facility after hire)
Family practice or urgent care/immediate care background
Schedule is Monday-Friday 11:30 am - 9 pm. No call. No weekends.
