Job Description
CORPORATE SR. PROCESS ENGINEER - Multi-Billion dollar company - Midwest. This is a Corporate Level position with a Global Manufacturing company. The Sr Process Engineer will coordinate and drive the activities of 5 professional Process Engineers at the five plants in this business sector and participate in continuous improvement and process assurance. This is a high visibility role that gets visibility to the CEO and Parent Company.

DUTIES:
Coordinate, provide training and lead the activities of 5 Process Engineers in the 5 plants in this business sector.
Lead continuous process improvement and process assurance/standardization in this manufacturing sector. Teach continuous improvement tools to others.
Using continuous process improvement skills and process assurance skills must ask the right questions and drive the right programs.
Use databases and data acquisition systems to collect data to be used for continuous improvement and process assurance.
50 percent domestic travel on Mondays through Fridays to the 5 plants.
Provide process improvement and standardization training and guidance for the 5 plant process engineers.
Provide technical assistance to the plants for audits, process capability analysis and gage capability procedures.

REQUIREMENT PROFILE:
DYNAMIC, POSITIVE, ENTHUSIASTIC, GO-GETTER, OUTGOING, TEAM PLAYER, LEADERSHIP TYPE PERSONALITY.
BS Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Hands on person with manufacturing floor experience as a process engineer.
At least three years experience managing people.
Experience teaching continuous improvement tools to others. Solid proficiency with Continuous Improvement and Process Assurance skills such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Gage R&R, SPC, Value Stream Mapping, 6 Sigma.
Six Sigma Black Belt and SPC
Proficient user of databases such as Minitab or related software and Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PP and Word as well as data acquisition systems.
Willing to travel 50% domestically on a Monday through Friday basis.
